If you are interested in working for us as a freelance translator/proofreader you should first check to see that you meet the following criteria:
- You have specialist knowledge in a technical, legal or financial field (translators).
- You have a PC with up-to-date software and e-mail, you can use it on an advanced level.
- You have a 'Živnostenský list'.
- You are highly proficient in the source language and a native-speaker in the target language (or possibly vice versa if you are Czech or Slovak).
- You are 100% reliable in following instructions and meeting deadlines.
- You have very broad general knowledge.
Should you be able to meet all these criteria, then contact , sending an up-to-date CV in English.
If you appear to be promising you will then be asked to do a short test translation (unpaid) on the basis of which we will decide whether or not to use your services.
